Interesting differences between our Christmasses btw. I didn't realize it was common to celebrate in January at all in Europe - we celebrate December 24th there. But that's not so different. You have the same day as they (most commonly) do in the US then.
All different meals/festivities too except for the fruits and nuts like dried plums (also dates here), oranges and tangerines.

I've seen pictures of Sofia before specifically, seems like a really nice place.
