Some philosophical questions

Posted by Ivanbg2003 - January 5th, 2024

1.If morality is subjective, why should I care about being moral?

2.What in life is truly objective and not subjective?

3.Would you kill 10 people to save 100?

4.How can people believe in truths without evidence?

5.Is it easier to love or to be loved?

6.What is true friendship?

7.If lying is wrong, are white lies okay?

Very interesting thoughts here...

I'll go ask Google for answers.

1. Because it just might make the world around you a better place in the long run (maybe help you sleep better at night, depending if you have an active concience).
2. Maths.
3. I don't know.
4. Because if they had the evidence, they would 'know' instead believing.
5. What is love?
6. Awesome.
7. Lying being wrong is not an absolute statement. Depends heavily on the situation. Saying something like 'no sir, we don't have any jews hiding in our attic', during WW2, seems like a pretty okay lie in my book.
Or something like: 'your ass doesn't look fat in those jeans dear', also a widely accepted exception for lying.
